Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day so far! It has been raining since I got up at 5:30 this morning! Which I do not like AT ALL!!! Okay, enough with the exclamation marks I will stop now. Today I get to start my chemistry lab which totally excites me because I am a science freak and love it! The fact that it starts today has made my Monday 10 times better and probably will for the rest of the semester. Today also marks day #2 for my roommate and I’s 21 fitness challenge. We will see how long this last (which usually is like 3 days tops). I have been thinking about joining a sorority for spring recruitment and was wondering if anyone has advice, comments, opinions, etc. I would really like to hear them so that I can make a firm decision as to what I am going to do. Also, check out another giveaway over at Everyday AEM.

 What are ya'll doing today?

  1. Hi! I hope you have a wonderful Monday and enjoy your lab, I personally hated science so labs always were a dread since they are 4 hours long here.
Good luck on your and your roommate's challenge. My roomie and I just pledged to do yoga every night so we will see how long this lasts.
As for advice on recruitment, I would say go for it! I never went through formal recruitment which I kind of regret since I'm sure I would have had a wonderful time and met lots of people and I always wonder which house I would have possibly ended up in. However, I went through a separate recruitment process with Phi Beta Chi and I love that this is the house I ended up joining. Remember to be yourself, these girls are potentially your sisters so if you are not being yourself they won't know the true you. Also, go with your gut, if it doesn't feel like the house for you, no matter the talk that its the "best house" understand that it's ok and each house is amazing no matter the talk you have heard as far as reputation. GOOD LUCK!

  2. Yikes, I was always horrible at science, so the thought of labs always made me feel uneasy ha! I hope you and your roommate stick with the challenge, you can do it! And you'll be thankful for the results afterwards :)

As for recruitment I say go for it, the worst that could happen is you decide not to join one at all, but make a lot of friends on the journey! Stay true to who you are and you will find a sorority that is perfect fit for you

  3. Today I am working, then going to the gym and cooking! Seriously cooking is the best way to end the day!

As for formal recruitment go for it! I was a Delta Delta Delta and met some of my best friends by joining a sorority! It was one of the best things I did in college. I met a great group of girls and really branched out and tried new things. Be yourself! That is the best advice! And go with how you are feeling trust your gut. If you are not comfortable in that house don't join it, you want joining a house to be a good experience. You want to feel comfortable and relaxed in the house you join! Best of luck!
