JH Design is a business my sister is starting up on etsy.com. She is currently a senior and getting ready to graduate with a graphic design degree and is starting this side business up to do something that she loves, and using her graphic design skills for others to enjoy. She has many different card options from holiday cards to birthday cards to just because cards. She is also doing stationary and personalized items. Along with her small things she is also doing business logos, save the dates for weddings, invitations, and so much more! Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day so far! It has been raining since I got up at 5:30 this morning! Which I do not like AT ALL!!! Okay, enough with the exclamation marks I will stop now. Today I get to start my chemistry lab which totally excites me because I am a science freak and love it! The fact that it starts today has made my Monday 10 times better and probably will for the rest of the semester. Today also marks day #2 for my roommate and I’s 21 fitness challenge. We will see how long this last (which usually is like 3 days tops). I have been thinking about joining a sorority for spring recruitment and was wondering if anyone has advice, comments, opinions, etc. I would really like to hear them so that I can make a firm decision as to what I am going to do. TGIF!

Today has been one weird feeling day! Last night my roommate and I went to eat Japanese because I love it and miss eating at the one back home. So we found this place that looked clean and a lot of people were at and we also googled it just to check the reviews (: and yes it was pretty good, just not like the one back home. But early this morning I woke up and felt absolutely terrible, and didn’t know what it could possibly have been. Then it came to me! I had food poising!! So typical me called the mother and gave her my symptoms and she confirmed what I was thinking (mother ALWAYS knows best). Worst feeling ever! So I sucked it up and ended up going to class looking a hot mess and felling like one to! And the worst part was that I really wanted to attend a work out class at 1 today but I just don’t feel up to it right now. But, it is finally the weekend and I am going to spend it in the bed until I feel better. Hope your Friday is turning out better than mine has!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday ya'll!

I am loving that today is already Wednesday.

I am loving that I only have to get up at the crack of dawn one more day this week.

I am loving that I am almost finished with my homework for the week.

I am loving that all of my classes are awesome and I think it is going to be a great semester for me!

I am loving that I get to go see my family next weekend!

I am loving that tonight my roommate and I are going to Body Rock workout class…so excited!

I Survived!

First day of big college check! So glad that is over with and I did it without over sleeping, missing the bus, getting lost, being late, or going to the wrong building/class. Needless to say I am more than happy with myself. And all that stressing this morning while getting ready was not needed. Second round of the first day for new classes (did that even make sense?) is tomorrow and thank goodness I am actually looking forward to it (weird). Then when I got home from school right after lunch my boots had arrived…YAY! I have worn them around all afternoon and LOVE them! Besides a successful first day and my new boots getting here that’s about all the excitement I have had.

So tonight is my last night of freedom! Tomorrow at 8 am starts a new semester at school. Oh boy this should be great! But I am trying to look at all the positives to it…not working so well. SNOW!

Yesterday I saw on the news that it was going to snow and it being 40 something I thought no way that is happening! Much to my surprise IT DID!!! And it was absolutely beautiful. I love the snow even though it is super super cold.

I'm Back!

I know I have been slacking in the blogging area this week but I am back and going to be a better blogger in the weeks to come! Promise! Well while I have been gone I have officially moved off to school, went job hunting (no luck), started going to the gym, and attended orientation yesterday (which was long and boring) and today I went to pick up my books from the bookstore. It has been quite an eventful week. But, school starts on the 17^th which I am NOT looking forward to especially because it is a new school and is about 50 times bigger than community college. YIKES! But I know I will be just fine. There is also an awesome Valentine’s Day swap going on over at Coffee At Nordstrom, go check it out!

Go BAMA!

Today I moved up to Boone for the semester with my best friend and now roommate! It was the longest ride all alone and I cried pretty much the whole way here. I know I know sad for a 20 year old to cry about leaving her parents! But they are a big part of my life and I already miss them like crazy! But as a little bonding time with the roommate we are watching the Alabama v. LSU game! Go BAMA!!

I have been considering selling thirty-one products. And I was wondering if anyone is selling it and what their thoughts are about it.

Confessional Friday

Today I am doing another link up with Leslie over at A Blonde Ambition for Confessional Friday. Thank goodness it is finally Friday and it’s the weekend! I am going to take the weekend off from blogging to spend my last weekend with my family and some friends, but no worries I will fill you all in later!

So on to the Confessions….

1.       Ever since the New Year’s has started I have be failing at my resolutions so bad…but I am going to pick it up asap!

2.       I really need to be working out and getting back into shape for summer but it seems so far away and I have absolutely no motivation at all.

3.       I have been surfing pintrest no stop and doing way too many crafts that week. What is wrong with me?

4.       I have had a twitter for about a year and I have only tweeted three things, not to mention that I have no clue how to really use it. Like what am I to say on there?

5.       The Jersey Shore came back on last night and I cannot be more ecstatic about it. Like it is love..kinda.

6.       I have been spending way too much money here lately. Especially on my new apartment which is kinda like a money pit!

7.       I have come to love the movie Friends with Benefits. It is such a cute movie.

8.       Ahh and I have spent a lot of time lately reading! Which is super abnormal because I use to hate reading with a passion and now I have found this new series that I just can’t put down.

9.       I am so ready to watch the LSU v. Bama game! And I don’t even like either team all that much but I am pulling for BAMA all the way!

10.   I am sad that school is going to be starting on the 17^th and I am not looking forward to it at all!

I know some of these confessions are a little lame and short but this has pretty much been my week!

It's 2012 ya'll

It’s finally 2012 and I pretty much love it so far! I love the fact that you get the opportunity to wipe your slate clean and “start over” and trust me this year I am taking advantage of it. So let me tell you a little about my New Years Eve/ Day…I spent it with family and close friends which was absolutely the best! Here are a few pictures from the night.

This girl is pretty much my life. She is not my sister but she might as well be. We treat each other like sister and we have always been super close and I will always be there for her. She is like my little sister and I strive to be a good role model for her.

This is my wonderful mother! She is the most amazing person I know.

Today I spent time with my mother finishing up my apartment for me to move up there for good on Sunday. It was fun to have a little mother daughter time!
